Looking into the door and looking left you see her bed
Here is Tal's room. He has the largest room.
This is the front door and foyer looking toward the kitchen and beyond that the covered patio. The dining room opens up toward the right. The room on the left is the den.

Here is the den.
I am standing with my back to the front door looking into the living room.

This is the living room
Here is the living room from the other side looking towards the front door.

We hope to have a rug and dinning room table some day.

Blog 53 Outside lights
We finally got our fountain hung. There is a hole in it...see the water on the ground? Our contractor says he can fix it.

Here is the pool with lights on. It looks so nice with the lights on. We also added a new handrail. I like it too.
Here is the first attempt at the outside lights. we do not like this...too bright!
Here is a second attempt at the lights. We do not like this either.
We are getting closer to the look that we want.
There is a mantle here and these are the lights over it.
Here is the same outside fire place with lights and outdoor furniture and our Xmas wreath.
We finally have the up lights on the curved wall around the pool and the interior pool lights working.

Blog 52 Front door
Here is the front door with the blue stone added.
Here is the front door colors we have narrowed it down to. I think we will go with the darker blue on the right.

Here are the new steps. They have the same stone and bluestone caps as we have in the back.
We added a flower bed at the front door for interest. I am not sure what will go into that bed but it seemed to fit here. Notice the rain gutters in this photo.
Several weeks have gone by since the above photos. Here the mulch has been added, My new rain chains have been added (finally). They have completed the bluestone patio in front of the office. We decided to add a flower bed at the end of the patio which has finished the area.
Here is the side of the garage. They have finished the wall and added mulch. You can see the landscape rocks placed in back.
Here is the curve at the end of the wall.

We still have workers here doing outside work. We are so ready for them to go!
Here is the side yard. This is on the left side of the outside fire place. We have created a space for a grill. It goes in the center opening. While they were building it I watched Opus, our puppy, walk from behind the grill onto the top of the grill. So... now they have added a backsplash so the dogs can not walk onto the grill. The blue tarp is covering the pizza oven which is still under construction.

Here is the view from under the porch. See the grill sitting on the hearth of the fireplace, waiting to be put in its place? Notice the mud bank behind. We had a big rain and all that mud washed down into the stone patio. That is why the black tarp is holding up the mud.
Here is the bank behind the grill. Chad selected variety of  large landscaping rocks and we are placing them on the bank.
Actually, Chad is moving the rocks and I am telling him where to place them.
Here are the rocks placed with mulch added. We are starting the walkway toward the patio.
Here is the idea we came up with for the walk way from around the garage toward the patio.
It is slowly coming along!

Blog 50.
We have moved in. The floors had their final coat of sealer.
The island in the kitchen was finished.

Here is some of the furniture. We are still waiting on the dinning room table. It will go behind the couch. We need a rug.
Here are our unpackers having lunch. Our first guests Jean Stephanides, Barbara Norvell, and Lou Crouch!!

Here is the pool bathroom with vessel sink and mirror. We are still waiting on the light fixture to be installed.
Here is the herringbone floor in mud room .

The blue stone  around the pool has been grouted.
They made the platform for the hot tub.
It took many men to lift the hot tub onto the platform.
The fur columns have been installed. They need to be stained like the roof.
The blue stone has been installed at the front door.
The retaining wall with a curved flower bed has been compleated.
We are trying to decide about the color for the front door.
Bright Blue or  dark blue??

Blog 49. The fence next to the pool has been finished.
Here is the fence up to the curved stone wall.
Here is the fence behind the stone wall. We are still waiting for the caps for the top of the wall.
Here is the fence in the back yard.
Here is the other side of the wall.
Here is the same finished fence looking at it from our bed room.

We have appliances, but the refrigerator (That we have had sitting in our garage for 6 months) is not the correct one and does not fit the space built for it.
We have shoe mold.
Inside, the details are being done now.

The front wall is getting higher
