Blog 52 Front door
Here is the front door with the blue stone added.
Here is the front door colors we have narrowed it down to. I think we will go with the darker blue on the right.

Here are the new steps. They have the same stone and bluestone caps as we have in the back.
We added a flower bed at the front door for interest. I am not sure what will go into that bed but it seemed to fit here. Notice the rain gutters in this photo.
Several weeks have gone by since the above photos. Here the mulch has been added, My new rain chains have been added (finally). They have completed the bluestone patio in front of the office. We decided to add a flower bed at the end of the patio which has finished the area.
Here is the side of the garage. They have finished the wall and added mulch. You can see the landscape rocks placed in back.
Here is the curve at the end of the wall.

We still have workers here doing outside work. We are so ready for them to go!
Here is the side yard. This is on the left side of the outside fire place. We have created a space for a grill. It goes in the center opening. While they were building it I watched Opus, our puppy, walk from behind the grill onto the top of the grill. So... now they have added a backsplash so the dogs can not walk onto the grill. The blue tarp is covering the pizza oven which is still under construction.

Here is the view from under the porch. See the grill sitting on the hearth of the fireplace, waiting to be put in its place? Notice the mud bank behind. We had a big rain and all that mud washed down into the stone patio. That is why the black tarp is holding up the mud.
Here is the bank behind the grill. Chad selected variety of  large landscaping rocks and we are placing them on the bank.
Actually, Chad is moving the rocks and I am telling him where to place them.
Here are the rocks placed with mulch added. We are starting the walkway toward the patio.
Here is the idea we came up with for the walk way from around the garage toward the patio.
It is slowly coming along!
