We have to pick a new front door. Here is our current front door. It is not centered in the space. It is a 3 foot door. We have decided we want a 3'4 or 3'6 door with side lights. We will not have curtains in front of it but it will have obscured glass.
Michael fell in love with this mahaguny door. It is a custom door made in Asheville. We do not have room for the top transom.
I am thinking of a painted front door. Something like this.
After much discussion we are currently looking at door styles that we could paint. I am not sure it will be blue but some bold color. Here are some of the option styles. Maybe a door like the one below with side lights. It would have a larger door knob like the second photo.

Maybe we should do sectioned side lights like the original door, or maybe half lights, or maybe 3/4 side lights. Let me know your thoughts.
